What your warranty covers — and what it doesn’t
Every tyre we sell is backed by the original manufacturer’s warranty against workmanship and manufacturing defects. Warranties do not cover damage from road hazards, improper maintenance, or the harsh GCC climate — here’s a clear visual guide to what falls outside cover.

What is not covered by warranty?
Warranty claims are strictly evaluated based on the root cause of the damage. Below are the common scenarios that void a tyre warranty.
Improper Tyre Inflation & Loading
Maintaining correct tyre pressure is the single most critical factor for tyre longevity — especially in the extreme summer heat of the GCC.
- Under-Inflation / Overloading: Running a tyre without sufficient air, or carrying weight beyond its load index, causes extreme heat buildup — heavy wear on the outer shoulders and, eventually, catastrophic tread separation.
- Over-Inflation: Too much pressure forces the centre of the tyre to bear the vehicle’s weight, causing rapid, uneven wear straight down the middle of the tread.
- Run-Flat Damage: Continuing to drive on a tyre that has lost pressure shreds the inner liner and destroys the internal sidewall structure.
Road Hazards & Accidental Damage
Tyres are tough, but not invincible. Damage from physical road hazards is not a manufacturing defect.
- Tread & Sidewall Cuts: Slices, punctures, or gouges caused by foreign objects on the road (glass, metal debris) or scraping against sharp curbs.
- Impact Breaks / Carcass Shock: Striking a pothole, curb, or large object at speed can break the internal body ply cords — often showing as a “bulge” or “egg” on the sidewall.
Mechanical Irregularities & Poor Maintenance
Your vehicle’s suspension and driving habits directly affect tyre life.
- Misalignment Wear (one-sided / feather-edge): If wheels aren’t aligned, the tyre drags rather than rolls — causing rapid wear on one side or a “feathered” edge across the tread.
- Spot Wear / Heel-Toe Wear: Caused by aggressive driving, hard or emergency braking (locking the wheels), or worn suspension components such as shock absorbers.
Environmental & Chemical Factors
The Middle Eastern climate demands special care for rubber products.
- Weather Cracking (ozone / heat damage): Prolonged exposure to intense sunlight, ozone, and Gulf summer temperatures dries out rubber compounds and cracks them — heavily aggravated by leaving a vehicle parked outside, unused, for long periods.
- Chemical & Oil Contamination: Tyres exposed to petroleum products, oil, or harsh chemicals suffer swelling and degradation of the rubber compound.
Improper Mounting, Repairs, or Alterations
Tyres must be serviced by qualified professionals using the right equipment.
- Bead Damage (mis-mounting): Tearing or breaking the bead — the inner lip that seals against the rim — through poor mounting or demounting on incorrect machinery.
- Improper Puncture Repairs: Poorly executed patches or plugs that fail to seal, letting moisture in to rust the steel belts and leading to tread separation.
